So week 6 run 2 done and week 6 has been arguably one of the tougher ones for me for outside interference!
Week 6 Run 1 was going to go so well but I smashed my phone on it! No music. I found out I grunt a lot when running 🙈.
Week 6 Run 2 was my - surprise surprise given the state of the UK weather - was my first one in rain. I also found starting and stopping a bit trickier. I dunno, I found 20 minutes easier than 2 x 10. Maybe impatient or something.
But, nevertheless I got through them.
(Incidentally, and I'm NOT TRACKING THIS IT'S ABOUT THE DESTINATION, but W6R2 saw my fastest mile and km)
My question: For run 3 I've taken a look and it's 25 minutes. Is it worth doing it as part of a Parkrun? I'm running the same route so not sure if familiarity helps, but not sure how hilly the one I want to do closest to my house (St. Helens). One of my two "failures" was when I ran in Berlin and I didn't know the route so was figuring it out as I go.

Well done on reaching the middle of Week 6! Sometimes the week can catch people out after Week 5 Run 3. It did me.
I should think that you could do Run 3 at your parkrun. My only advice would be to start at the back and don't get pulled along at a pace that isn't yours. That happens to me all the time and then I run out of steam.
Well done you... and please, no f words here.. you ran and no run is ever a failure, believe me!
If you run the park run, keep the speed down and don;t get carried away,, literally. Start with five mintues warm up and then begin to run... enjoying the experience... and completing week 6 Run 3 as a bonus.
