Wow, what a feeling. It definitely is all in the mind, I went slow and even had room to speed up a bit in the final minute! Can't wait for week 6 now!
Just nailed Week 5!: Wow, what a feeling. It... - Couch to 5K
Just nailed Week 5!
That’s brilliant-congratulations! It’s a proper milestone. You deserve to be seriously proud. Sometimes people find week 6 a funny one after the triumph of week 5. Keep it steady and you’ll have a great time.
Well done!
Congratulations! Wonderful. C25k gives a real sense if achievement doesnt it? Am starting week 4 tomorrow. Part of me is scared of the 5 minute run but then again, I was scared of wk2, of wk 3. I couldn't believe it when I went running in the rain and the heat (went in the evening when it was cooler). I pray I stay consistent to wk 9 and beyond!
Very well done @WarwickshireRunner!
Well done - this run feels like quite a milestone! 💪 Keep believing and good luck with Week 6! 🙂👍
Very well done you! As MissUnderstanding says, watch out for Week 6..it may feel odd, but it follows on and will help to turn you in to the runner you are!
Well done on you progress ! Good luck with WK6 take it steady as it can have a habit of biting you in the bum when you least expect to coin a phrase. However if you take it steady you’ll do fine. 👍😂
yay!!! Well done WarwickshireRunner …the feeling after week 5 is amazing…and def all in the head!! This can also make us feel invincible…which is amazing too but can also have a Usain Bolt effect at the start of week 6 and often sees runners setting off too quickly, leaving them bewildered as to why, after they’ve just run for 20 mins solid, going back to 5 mins seems so hard …so..when you head out on your first run of week 6 remember to keep it slow and steady…
Let us know how you get on
Congratulations WR!!! That's a great accomplishment! I remember it well.
Best of luck as you continue to Week 6 - It can sometimes through you a curveball, but as you say, a lot of it is mental!
And as others will tell you (and told me) , slow and steady will get you there...
That's excellent! Well done! (Isn't it a great feeling to be a RUNNER!)
