This is probably a mad question but who put together the couch to 5K program? It's a great program, I've done it from the beginning a few times. Could the people that put it together be asked to do the same for a 10k guided program? I can't get my head into the NRC 10k with coach Bennett. I'm enjoying the stepping stones with Steve Cram. It gives me confidence and encouragement having someone talking to me while I'm running
Guided runs: This is probably a mad question but... - Couch to 5K
Guided runs
'Fraid not....
"Couch to 5K is a running plan for absolute beginners. It was developed by a new runner, Josh Clark, who wanted to help his 50-something mum get off the couch and start running, too.
The plan involves 3 runs a week, with a day of rest in between, and a different schedule for each of the 9 weeks. "

it is just one version of starting running but it was the one that the NHS endorsed..
There are lots of other coach voices on the Nike runs...
I used a 10K one once... and Ill try and find the link...
if you have an iPhone there is a Bridge to 10K podcast which is similar and I’ve used it with success
I have an Android phone. Can I use that? Xxx
Sorry I’ve been trying to edit that but there’s an issue
And it looks like this
I miss Steve, too...and agree that CB can be a bit much at times.
But I really do like having the encouragement.
I've found one on Google Play called 'Couch to 10k running trainer' but have no idea what it's like. Perhaps worth exploring.
