Knowing When Not Run!!

So tonight I had to bail out of my schedule run 🏃‍♀️ my mind was saying come on you can do this but every part of my body was saying no!

Did our normal warm up and it felt ok as soon as I started to run it was like a wall of pollen hit me my eyes started to stream my nose and then my chest joined in que asthma that was it Nothing I could do but 🛑 stop ✋ Oh well try again tomorrow!

Well done for listening to yourself. Pushing through when you feel bad is never a good idea. The runs will wait (and the pollen count reduce) :)

Good on you! I’m doing the same-I’d planned a run this evening but it’s been migraine this afternoon and I’m still not feeling 100%. The runs will still be there tomorrow. ❤️

sometimes it has to be done been suffering all week with dry mouth and throat all week hasn’t helped!

Well done!

I've had a head cold all week and hadn't run since parkrun on Saturday. I wasn't sure whether to attempt a run this evening, so did my shortest routine, allowing myself the permission to stop at any time.

I was perfectly fine during the run itself but had a little coughing fit on the cool down walk, probably due to the activity moving things around.

I have done that one before and had a massive asthma attack after it! So knew not to do it!
