Week 7 done without injury this time - last time I was out of action for weeks due to injury following the first run of week 7 (take home from that experience was 'see the physio sooner rather than later'). I had planned to do the third run this week on the almost flat running track in the local park but the weather put paid to that idea as the track was more puddles than track. Instead I tackled the slight incline where I pulled something last time round, I shuffled up the 'hill' and I shuffled down again and no injury - hurrah! Strangely I've been getting knee twinges when I change back from running to walking, just 2 or 3 stabbing pains, it feels as if something is being rearranged in my knees. Weird!

🍏☺️Glad you are back into it again & sensible not to run on a slippery track! Maybe some strength and flex to support your running and those knees especially will be helpful.

Welcome back... as Annieapple says, loads of exercises around for you to support those knees!

These very basic ones for example and ones you can do very easily, when you have the time
Do be sure that of there is pain and not just a twinge, that you do get it checked out by an expert
Hi
So frustrating when that happens. I have been on injury couch more times than I care to remember. I now try and do 20-30 mins of stretching every day which includes hamstring and glute stretch. I also go to a specialist sports injury masseur (who works with my physio) every month. She is amazing and told me that most knee problems come from weak quad muscles not holding knee in position. The stretching and strengthening has helped. Now redoing C25K and have got to week 5 run 2…
Good luck with your knee.
