Took the plunge after a few days rest to attempt the 20 minute run, and I am pleased to say after being nervous all week I have managed to run nonstop for 20 minutes, which is a very pleasing moment for me personally! - I feel like I can complete the whole thing and graduate now, cannot wait for the final 3 weeks!
Took the first 10 minutes slowly then gradually increased the pace in the 2nd half as I was feeling pretty good, week 6 here we come!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs. 🏃 😊
No, it's NOT a piece of cake, many runners have complained about it after the 20 minutes of W5R3, just take run 1 carefully like I did and you shouldn't have any problems. 😊
Ahh i just finished this run too today Felt like week 5 took me ages as i came down with a virus and couldn't get out. I felt great doing the 20 min run. Never thought i could do this!!! Congrats on getting passed your nervousness ans i hope your still on a high from completing it
That is so awesome! I actually did this today, but didn't feel like I was successful. I made it through about 13 minutes, but had to walk a little in the last 7 minutes - 15 strides or so 3 or 4 times. I can't decide whether to do the 20 min run again on Wednesday or progress to week 6.......
In my opinion, I would probably attempt the run again, then it should set you up mentally for the last few weeks, its a real rush when you manage to complete it in 1 go, so try again and you can do it!
