Despite the wind, rain and sun all at the same time (I exaggerate not), I really enjoyed this run though I'm pretty convinced my first 5 mins running pace is slower than my brisk walk, but my question today...Does anyone else find themselves answering or responding to Laura or their particular cheerleader? I'm not sure how long I've been doing this but I became very aware of it today when she hoped I'd found a comfortable pace and I responded yes, I have thank you very much. Hmmm 🤔😜😂

The weather really is quite a challenge at the moment isn't it? I managed to fit a run in this afternoon just in time before the next deluge with thunder. I don't run with a cheerleader but I do find myself talking out loud to no one in particular quite frequently so I think you're probably not alone - at least we know we are running at a conversational pace!

🍏 Now you are very positive & that’s one of the best traits for a runner!

🤣I think we all will admit we talk back to our coaches at times! I certainly do! 🙈The reason you are doing so well is that the start of your run is slow!! Dont ever change that! Well done!!!

Thank you. I've been a bit surprised at the lack of worrying I have now about what other people think of my pace. The first 2 weeks I was very self conscious - now I don't really notice other people other than to sat hi or avoid them running me over. It's a very nice feeling 💞

That’s a great attitude, wish I could tap into it! I am getting a bit better but still find myself speeding up when someone’s coming in case I look ridiculous. Then just end up slowing right down when they’ve passed so I can get my breath back! Silly woman!!

My cheerleader this time is Reece Parkinson. He’s very positive and cheery.. when he asks “Are you feeling good?” Or “Are you ready?” I find myself shouting back”NO, I’m ****🤬NOT!.

Not what you're looking for?
