Back to running....I hope

My last run was Feb 6th due to a Back problem. So this morning I loaded up the Nike 20 min run and off I went. I started keeping the pace slow. Oh it was hard and turning into the head wind to start back was a shock as I seemed to start running in reverse. I think the running gods had a good laugh at the 🐌 overtaking me. I hope the weather cooperates as I want to get back to running 5k again on or near my 77th Birthday which is coming up soon.

🍏That’s a very good description!! 🤣🤣 I experienced the same yesterday on my run! Well done for getting back to it with NRC That’s a good pace! Wow! I am sure you will realise your dream if you do some strength & flex to keep your back and core muscles strong too. Let us know how you get on!

Thanks Annieapple, I have also restarted some light weight training. I just hope the weather gods send us all good running conditions for the rest of the year.

Well done on that comeback run - if the snails are overtaking you then you need to move to Scotland. It must be the better weather down south that makes them so fast!
