Well, after a 5 day whizz around Norway I'm back to my running today. Managed to gain 1.7 kgs whilst on hols - quite impressive in such a short time - and feel so different to how I felt just a few short days ago after W5R2. It's supposed to be R3 today but it feels beyond me so toying with R2 again. Any thoughts? The exciting news is that I'm having also having a gait check today and hopefully upgrading from my very old, non runner, trainers. Eeek!! Have a lovely day all 😘

Norway has so much nice food on offer! I remember eating a LOT of pastries while I was there. Did you enjoy yourself? I loved it!

It’s up to you what you do for your next run. There are no hard and fast rules. Me personally? I’d give the next one a go and if it was too much, just take some walking breaks or cut short. Most of the time, those things which feel beyond us aren’t and it’s only our nerves speaking. Putting it off might build it up to be a bigger deal than it actually is. If you’d rather repeat a previous one, that’s fine too though-you know yourself best.

Good luck with the new shoes! We love pictures of shoes here….

It was amazing. I loved it. It was short and we did a lot of travelling and had a wonderful time. Apart from stunning scenery and lovely people, they di great breads (my weak spot) and pastries - cinnamon rolls - mmmm. I'll go for R3 and if it needs a walk or two, so be it. Thank you. And will.post shoe pics. 😊

🍏Beautiful Norway 🇳🇴 Look forward to hearing about R3.. agree with MissU it’s often our nerves that hold us back . I myself had a practice run this morning! Will need to redo it .. however glad I tried it! Xx

Oh same!! I love bread. All of it!! I’ve got a photo of me in Bergen eating a skillingsboller that’s literally as big as my head. Happy times!

Good luck with your run-whatever you end up doing with walk breaks or not, you’ll be finishing having done something great for yourself. Have fun!

Go for it and try not to let those gremlins convince you that you can’t do it. You’re ready for it and I promise you it’s the most amazing feeling finishing that run!!!! Good luck.
