Kinda glad I repeated Week 2 , I managed all 6 90sec runs this morning . Still no idea why I find it so infuriating being told when to run and when not to , itβs almost taking the joy out of getting back to running .
I may have to rethink C25K and do my own thing .
Blissfull sunny and warm morning for it again all be a little cooler which is what I can cope with being an old woman n all π€£π€¦ββοΈ . Did have to laugh my plaits started off soo well then as I got sweaty they veered out like Heidi π€£π€£
Feet are happy to be back on Brooks now if I could just convince my legs to lift and not feel like ten tonne weights that would be grand π€£π€£.

π well done.. when you are confident you have built up some fitness again you could try the free NRC app that so many of us graduates use. Here you can choose not to use the guided runs although most of us enjoy the benefits of coach B.
Well done! C25K is a great tool to build you back up to pace, I'm sticking with it until I've completed it again and maybe the consolidation runs. Then il be back to the excellent coaching on NRC or actually try the coaching services of this fancy Garmin that's been warming my wrist for the last few years ππ oddly never tried there coaching.
Great photo and less of the old woman stuff, you're way younger than me so you've got no excuses, you spring chicken you π
Plaits and bunches are very underrated for the more mature and discerning among us. So practical, flattering and comfortable, why should the little girls have all the fun?
Haha exactly and Iβm no spring chicken Iβm 50 in Oct β¦ and on year 2 of no time of month hence feeling oldβ¦ Iβm loving my plaits I just wish they didnβt flick out π€£π€£
We move effortlessly from Girl Power to Crone PowerπI believe we each have an internal age where we felt most ourselves. I've always been 26. I reckon my Mum was 18. My son is 40. I've met 19 year olds who are already 50. The 'actual' number is just chronology.
Ha ha ! Old woman ! I don't think so Steady as you go... sometimes a bit of routine , 'being ordered around', can be useful... it really does teach us a little bit about the discipline in our running and it supports our progress..
Build back up as Annieapple says, and then we may share Coach Bennett and the guided runs with you... he is a bit of a lad and does share his favours with many of us The runs are suoer though
