So I got covid! Last Wednesday I became unwell with the dreaded virus and have basically been in bed since.
I've had to pause C25k and got as far as week 7, run 1. I'd love any advice about what to do next! I don't feel up for running tomorrow and like to start weeks off on Monday.
So do I do some light walking and restart week 7 the following Monday? Or start from an earlier week for example where there's more walking involved? Any advice from others who may have gone through similar so appreciated.

hi Irishgirlrunning23 …so sorry to hear you’ve been struck down with the dreaded virus…if I were you, I would do just that…try some walking first, see how it goes…there’s no rules, you just have to do what you feel you can manage, so if you do start week 7 & it feels too much, just go back to week 6 and see how that feels..hope you feel much better soon
🍏 So sorry that wretched covid interfered with your running but those runs are kind they wait for us until we are ready! Mummycav has given you good advice. Let us know how you get on!
My "heavy cold" which started on January 2nd turns out to have been the new JN.1 variant of COVID19. I didn't think to test until yesterday as it felt just like a normal head cold.
My Garmin watch has been saying "high stress" and the body battery has bottomed out a few times. I haven't run since Jan 1st.
