Just looking for advice, managed 12.5 minutes of today's 25 min run this morning and had to stop, made the mistake of going up a steep hill instead of stick to my usual flat track path, would you guys attempt a second run in the evening after a failed attempt in the morning or would you just leave it and repeat the week?

It happens to all of us! Count that one as a practice. Take your usual rest day in between and have another go in a couple of days time (or whenever works for you). It’s totally normal to have tricky runs. You’ll get it next time!

I should have said, there’s no need to repeat the whole week-just try that run again.

🍏As MissUnderstanding says.. it’s just a practice. No need to repeat the week, only that run, but not today. If you hit a hill on your run that you are unsure of just walk it & then carry on running… alternatively run it slower than slow… or a bit of both… one day they won’t bother you at all. No run is ever wasted or a failure. We learn more about ourselves and our running in the difficult runs. When you put your trainers on and start running you are a winner no matter how the run turns out. 🤩

If a hill is "beating" me, I turn around and run downhill. Sometimes just 20 or 30 paces is all I need before I feel I can turn and face the hill again, othertimes i keep going downhil for longer.

I’d just have a rest day and repeat the run and if you manage to complete it ok then move on. Just use it as a practice run for your next run
