Week 7 run 2

A sunny morning -just the right weather for a run. My new clothes helped to keep my body temperature at the right level. And a bonus I looked good and felt like a runner. I managed 4.17km with 5 min walks and a pace of 8.19km -my best pace yet. I tested myself this morning and found that I have more stamina and am fitter. It's working! And I am loving it. I will run for .30 mins in 2 weeks but it will take me a few more weeks to hit 5km but I know I can do it.

Well done Liz! It's a great feeling when you suddenly realise quite how much improvement there's been in your fitness, isn't it? :)

Well done Lizi. You're doing great. You will feel more comfortable in your new gear as it wicks sweat away from your body so it won't stick to you and leave you feeling cold and clammy

Keep going steadily, slow but sure, and you'll soon be crossing the finish line. We'll be here when you do. Now where's the Pledge, pom poms anyone ......

Well done Liz! Don't worry too much about the 5k - it's the 30 minutes that's the target. Keep up the brilliant work, Steve :)
