Woke up to my nemesis - šØ which didnāt start me off in a good frame of mind. But I had a word with those gremlins and told them to buzz off. I decided to do a guided run and - how strange after Annieapple ās post the other day- what appeared first was Coach Bās struggle run. Be still my beating heart š Well it was obviously meant to be and the dog was definitely up for it so off we went.
Another change of route just to mix it up and avoid the beach- we came across these lovely nutcracker post toppers on someoneās drive! I wonder if it is one of the post box knitters/crocheters? š¤
Anyway that and Coach Bās dulcet tones lifted my spirits and we carried on for a while after the run had finished. Sometimes the best runs come when you least expect them. Coach B also reminded me not to stress if Iām struggling to fit a 5K in this week. I could have just sat on the sofa watching yet another predictable Christmas film but instead we got a 30 min run under our belt.
Just a reminder to be kind to yourself, be a good coach to yourself and celebrate what you are doing! š
