The 2 Secrets They Didn't Tell You About Running!

One of my biggest struggles in life is consistency. I embark on many things but lose interest after a while. Maybe it's boredom. I haven't quite figured it out. The one thing I seem to be engaging in effortlessly is running. That doesn't mean I don't struggle with the actual runs, I do. But I seem to have tapped into an inner resource that gets me up in the morning and keeps me going no matter what.

After W6R3 this morning I think I have cracked it.

1. No judgement. It's just me and the road. Not competing with anyone - not even myself. Just putting one foot infront of another until the coach says stop.

2. I have learnt to pace myself. I have developed a good rhythm. This explains why I struggle with the shorter runs that have breaks. I lose my rhythm.

So, to win don't judge yourself and keep your rhythm!

Happy running everyone!

Way to go. Those breakthroughs are important... we have great coaches, now you’re a great trainee for them. Pace is difficult to get right and takes time, well done. All running now for the next three weeks... love every run.

😂😂 Oh dear! Funny thing is that I wanted to rest for two days before W6R3 but I couldn't. Once the gear was on I was off!!!
