As some of you know I had a crappy run in the sun on Tuesday & I’ve been itching to get out again, I resisted the temptation of going out on my rest day yesterday but I COULD NOT wait any longer so I was up with the sparrows this morning and with determination I got my kit on & laced up my shoes....after Hidden ’s post yesterday & all the positive vibes & love I felt from you all...old friends & new...I was determined that my post today would be a good one. So I took Jan & her friends G&J out with me this morning...they were right there on my shoulder...I thought of how strength comes from deep within..whether it’s fighting illness that we can’t control, going through tough times, be it relationship wise or financially, getting through life in general or running that extra Km we all have this strength inside that we never knew we had...it doesn’t always feel like it, believe me I know that, but the hidden strength deep inside is what gets you through...
I felt on top of the world at one point on my run this morning, the sun had just popped up in the horizon & it made my heart smile...
Cherish every moment of life while you can, get out there & run for those who can’t, run because you want to, run because you need to...just run its blooming fantastic xxxxx

Wow your morning sounds and looks idyllic- I think the best time for a run is early morning - makes you feel fabulous for the rest of the day - well done you 😀
Sounds lovely! Well done and glad it was so positive, you have made me want to get up and out early for a change (all my runs are evening ones in general but I always find the most cheery people round here are out in the mornings!) Hope your whole day is good now! 😆
Oh how lovely, what a beautiful return to running. Well done Mummycav - you have CAVerns of strength and sagacity. See - I still can drop the CAV bombs! So happy you had a lovely one
Love the Cav bombs!! I just had one of those runs that are full of self doubt....& until you run again that feeling seems to stay with you...Its not the first & im sure it won’t be the last...I remember sitting on my wall outside my house feeling utterly deflated after many of the runs on the programme...posting on here & feeling so much better after everyone’s support & encouragement...now I hear myself encouraging other runners on here but feel a bit of a fraud when I have a run like that...oh well...this morning was beautiful, perfect conditions for running both outside & in my head!! Thank you xxxx
I have...I shall be out again later on...I was tempted to do the park run this morning but a friend called in last night & we ended up having some wine so that didn’t happen!! x
