Anything you need to know...just ask... if we cannot find the answer... we will find someone who does!!!
The Strength and Flex Forum too is a great place to log on and visit... loads of ideas there for exercises which will support your running body as you move on !
We shall be watching for your posts! x
well…you’re on here now so there’s no getting away!!! We’ll be watching for your updates..make sure you’re feeling 100% before you get going…when you’ve done that first run we want to hear all about it!!!
Welcome to the site and the program, it's amazing and have you doing things you'd never thought you'd be able to do.
The people on here are as amazing as the program, they'll be alongside you every step of the way (virtually of course) and will help out how ever they can.
The best thing about the site and the people is they will encourage but never criticise, they may chastise a little if you post that you've done week 1 run 2 and decided to try to run for an hour; they may 'advise' you not to get ahead of yourself because you could injure yourself, for instance.
Make sure you post your runs up, I've completed the program at least 4 times but still post up my runs (I'm redoing the program again for the second time this year, long story).
Use it as a run diary, post as much or as little as you like but the more you post and the more detail you put, the more helpful people will be.
The MAIN thing to remember about this program is this:
The is NO such thing as failing, if you go to do a run and don't complete it for whatever reason, it was a practice, leave a day's rest and try it again.
We don't even use the F word (failure), if you do, then you have to buy biscuits
welcome to this lovely place … trust the programme, it works, and enjoy the journey. When I was completing the C25K I used to ‘post’ in my head as I was running along - it’s a great motivator to know that people on here are looking g out for your updates - and of course we’ll cheer you on every step of the way.
You’ve already been given great advice so I won’t add any more - I look forward to hearing about your progress 😊
Thank you all for your welcome and advise!
