I started C25K a while ago and found instead of doing the 3 runs every week I could only realistically achieve 2 a week, generally one in the evening and then one at the weekend. This mainly was due to old injuries which meant my recovery time needed an extra day sometimes.
I’m about to start week 8 so am VERY close to completing the course! If you’re like me and need an additional days rest for those first weeks, you will still get through the process!!

I mostly ran 'every other day' during my first C25K but it took me several weeks to complete Week 1. I think a significant number of us find after graduation that two runs a week, especially if we're rounding out our fitness with other activities, is the sweet spot so it sounds as though you're well set up for that.
A much better strategy in my view than repeating completed sessions. Bravo (and watch out for the near obligatory meh run in the last few sessions, assuming you've not survived it already)
I’m rerunning C25k for the third time, and finding there’s a lot more “life” getting in the way…restarted back in September, and only now in W4. Sometimes I’m only managing once a week…but I’m getting there!
That is such an important message BiscuitsBlue! So many people seem to think they aren't doing it properly if they don't manage 3 runs in a week, or if they'd like to repeat a run to feel secure in their progress. It's not a race but a process, and it's really ok to take our time with it. Sometimes that's just how it is!
I originally started C25K in March 2020, the day after lockdown was announced.
I completed the first week, but got sick after. (And it felt like the third run nearly killed me.)
I tried again a few weeks later and got to the end of week 2. Then I had to stop. The medication I was on was the problem (Roaccutane/isotretinoin) and exercising was counterproductive.
I waited until a few weeks after I'd finished the course, got some painfully infected insect bites on my legs, got that fixed with antibiotics, then gradually during late June started again, doing four week 1 runs spread over two weeks.
Once I was confident there were no problems I then did a run every other day (with a few gaps) until I graduated.
And then sprained my ankle, but that's another story…
