Today’s run was overall a pretty good run. Was spitting raining, which is funnily enough one of my favourite weathers to run in - mean there’s less people outside to bother me!
My pace definitely fluctuated throughout (average was about 8’50”) I usually have Monday’s for long distance so I try to keep it slower but my body just wants to go faster all the time which tells me my fitness is improvising, but I’m also trying to tell my body to chill 😂😂 I’m debating on if I should hit 5K next week but will have to see how my body does after my two 30 minute runs in the week. I saw a response by thatwasunexpected about upping my cadence so I’ve found a playlist at 160-165BPM so will definitely play around with that on Wednesday or Friday
I know I AM a runner, but sometimes there’s runs that make me feel like a runner and some that don’t and I feel like today was one where I felt like one. Had a few other runners out and they all said good morning or gave me a small wave which felt nice!

You’ll get there when the time is right! Of course you’re a runner. Even on the not so good days! You go out and can run 4,5K! Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Go for the 5k packersruns I think having read your posts, you sound ready for it. Your definitely a runner, we all have good and bad runs don’t we, the bad ones don’t bother me these days, I just think oh well, the next one will be better, and normally it is....good luck with the new playlist 👍🏃♀️ 🎶
Hi. I’m about where you are in terms of consolidation runs, speed and distance. I’m going to continue on today to get that 5k if I feel ok at the end of the 30 mins that is. It will probably take me another 5 mins but that’s ok. We’re so close to that elusive 5k. I’ve also signed up for a virtual 5k run for a local hospice so it sort of adds the pressure to get to 5k before the end of July 😂. We can do this 👍🏻
