Took a week off to rest up my knees after graduation! So first run since was this morning, also my first Parkrun! Wasnโt sure Iโd be into it since a bit of an unsociable old git at times ๐, but loved it! Had a good run with the local Ellon posse ๐คฆโโ๏ธ And just got the e-mail through with the scores on the doors! I came 83rd out of 141, mid table mediocrity ๐, and 7th in my age group, some seriously quick old dudes out there ๐! And my time for the 5k??? 28.25 minutes ๐ฎ, seriously chuffed with that ๐! Definitely going to do that again ๐
Post Graduation / parkrun No 1: Took a week off... - Couch to 5K
Post Graduation / parkrun No 1
My first park run this morning too, ours was a bit busier though, over 200 people taking part. Well done on the time ๐๐ป
Wow that was a fantastic time for your first Parkrun. Congratulations. You blew the doors off the hinges there with a great time for a 5K. I was chasing sub 30 minutes at Parkrun for ages. Well done again.

Brill stuff. 28m 25s is fantastic! Seventh in your age range too - very, very impressive (unless you lied and claimed to be an octagenarian). I'm getting itchy feet now to try one next Saturday. Well done you x
Fantastic time! Well done and glad you enjoyed the parkrun.
Well done. My first one too at the same park run but i was way behind you! That last hill was tough ๐ฉ. But i made it ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Yeh i was at the briefing. I started right at the back and sought the reassurance of the tailwalker that she wouldnt lap me !!! ๐๐ However i finished sub 35 mins so i was pleased with that.
Must have seen you then, must only have been 6 newbies and the tourist from Elgin ๐! Hey nothing wrong with sub 35 thatโs goid going ๐
