Parkrun this Saturday

Good luck to all the Parkrunners this week enjoy it as you are first timers on this day. The first time Parkruns have been held on 29th February. The last time was 1992 when Parkrun hadn’t been thought of and the next time will be 2048 I will be 86 so unlikely I will ever do Parkrun on that day. No I am not doing tomorrow as I am running a half marathon on Sunday and I am even now after a year not happy to run two days on the trot. So good luck all .

Just to put temptation in your way.......you could go round with the tailwalker.....and never say never...... I’d like to still be able to run in my eighties, we have octogenarians at ours anyway.........ok, it might be more of a shuffle when I get there........but who knows......

Thanks Madge50 will have a very early start Sunday so will have a lay in on Saturday with all the early starts through the working week.

No I am not a first timer, tomorrow will be my 16th parkrun, first time on 29th February. 😊

The next 29th February parkrun if they are still happening will be in 2048 when I will be 102

At the very latest, my last parkrun will be before I am 80,.

As far as I know our parkrun is going ahead . It had its first cancellation last week as a tree had fallen on the run track but it has been cleared away
