After getting a calf strain in August (2 weeks from completing the 10k Magic Plan….frustrating) and a couple of failed attempts to get back on it (calf going at exactly 1 mile each time) I’ve decided to start C25K again mixed with some calf focussed strength training. This will be the third time on the program and hopefully I can build the strength and stamina back up slowly. First 2 week 1 runs done and it was difficult to hold back, could have gone harder/further for sure, but taking it slowly, trusting a process I know works.
