So I completed c25k a few years back and then lots happened, my dad who I loved dearly passed a way and I just got lost in grief πŸ˜” I to this day miss him so much! πŸ’”So after work today I went out for a run and felt amazing , running or jeffing ( is so good for my mental health)

I hope I make him proud x

So I just wanted to say to fellow runners or Jeffers or walkers , you are all amazing .πŸ‘

Ohhhh, im so sorry to hear about the loss of your lovely Dad…grief is a long journey & you have to take your time…allow yourself to grieve…and you can run…which can often help that grief…believe me, I know xxx

Welcome to the forum, you’ll get lots of help, advice and general loveliness on here and we’ll all be rooting for you how ever far/long you run or Jeff…

I’m sure that whatever you do in your life your dad will be watching you with emmense pride

Sorry for your loss πŸ˜” And yes, it's great for mental health, I've got bipolar but have been off my meds for years now thanks to running! It literally keeps me alive.

Welcome back... and after a time of such upset you can rely on support here from all of us.

A few changes here on the forums but a huge welcome where ever you find yourself.

Do take a peek at the pinned post again just to refresh your mind... pop into Catch Up Corner too, to say hello :)

As a Graduate of C25K, it may be an idea to take a look at the Graduate's Chat Club... usually we get folk sharing ideas and you can post there telling us how you are hoping to move on ?

Very well done on that first run! x
