I find that little kids are often quite fast, but they can rarely keep it up for the full distance.
I see quite a few on mine both boys and girls sadly usually being shouted at by over enthusiastic dads and not allowed to stop or slow down . I do wonder how many of them grow up to hate exercise because it’s something they were forced to do …
and not just sports-I have an unnecessarily deep aversion to Shakespeare from having had to read his plays in class aloud in the most dull and dreary way.
