I signed up for it a few weeks ago and also was supposed to do my first 5k last Sunday but then Covid struck me down 😢.I’m absolutely devastated as I am so careful but it’s struck the whole family down.

Still I intend to give it my best shot around the house and garden - if someone managed a marathon in the living room how bad can it be??? I just have to hope my legs find the strength now.

Good luck to everyone taking part - we can do this.

That is really rotten luck. Please don't try this unless you are fully recovered though. But if you do then good luck to you - try not to plough a furrow in your garden 😂😂😂

Thanks Fionamags and I think you’re right, I’m far from recovered but the thought of admitting defeat was winning the argument. I suppose sometimes you have to lose the battle to win the war! Hope you have your best 5k ever!
