Autumnal leaves and berries at their best!

I went for a run earlier and afterwards saw these amazing colours! We have had beautiful weather in the last few days. Enjoy the sunshine while you can x

There seems to be an abundance of berries this year, I’ve noticed. Huge blackberries, I made loads of jam! Harsh winter to come ? Somehow with all of the weird weather things going on I can’t see it. They do add a lovely splash of colour at this time of year. I try to see positives in my least favourite season!

That's fantastic making lovely jam! I was thinking about it, then didn't have any old jars to sterilise as they had been recycled, oh well may be next year. It is one my least favourite seasons as winter looms but I am determined to keep running.

The delights of Autumn. Keats was right when he wrote Ode to Autumn. Keep your eyes and nose open - the smells can be Wonderful too - and enjoy watching the season progress. They are predicting a really good one.

Will do, I try to see the positives in every season, but the winter was awful last year. Hopefully the warmer weather will continue for a while longer. I love poetry and compose it sometimes, but I haven't had a lot of time lately.

I hope for at least another two weeks of nice weather as I am being taken away somewhere secret by my wife and our son for my birthday! As for writing... make sure you have a note pad and a pencil with you at all times. I write, and those two item will be with me wherever I go, and whatever I am doing. Enjoy the Autumn and her ever changing moods, and seek inspiration wherever you go, and whoever you are out running, be it morning or at night.
