I just want to thank everyone for their comments, having people be nice to me is new (DV situation had me forbidden from having friends talking to people etc) I am truly humbled and grateful.... bright blessings to you all🥰

This is the kindest most supportive online space I've ever experienced. I've only seen 'less than lovely' about twice in two years. You're among friends here and we'll cheer you every step of the way 😁

(even the less than lovely comments weren't that bad compared to most)

This is such a lovely, supportive place. The running community in general is warm and friendly. So glad you’ve found us!

I’ve found running has helped me get fitter but it’s made me realise I’m much tougher than I thought I was and brought so much positivity. I’m sure it will for you too ❤️

I am so glad you're here, Floosey ! And thank you for speaking out about your DV experiences. That takes a lot of courage, too, just like starting to run 🤗 You're also not alone with that... I went through that what now seems like lifetimes ago. I wish you that running will help you learn just how strong you are! Keep sharing about your progress and (seeming) failures (for there's often a lesson in what might seem like a failure...). I look forward to reading about your running journey 🥳

This is the very best place to be, a runner amongst runners, knowing we've all followed a similar journey

This forum is so positive and supportive. I've been running for my mental as well as physical health and I've progressed largely due to the fantastic advice and support that HU gives. At first I could hardly run for a minute and now I run for 30-40 minutes three times a week. You will get there if you keep it slow and steady. Keep posting because we love to hear about people's journeys. 👍😀

What a lovely and generous message - I couldn't agree more. The warmth and support of this community has kept me Going after graduating and has immeasurably added to my (completely unexpected) enjoyment of running. Such nice people. Best of luck to you.
