Feeling chuffed to have completed this...and because I've learned no to try to go too fast (thanks to Steve Cram!) It wasn't too bad (except the bit up the hill - but that's Cumbria - beautiful but not exactly flat!) Even managed to speed up at the end - still not fast (average speed of 6:42 per km) but enjoyable. 😁

🍏That’s such a good run to have completed. Well done Those hills will make you fit.. embrace them especially as you live amongst beautiful hilly countryside. Beautiful Cumbria!! Love your Border Collie picture. My favourite dog! Enjoying your runs is the main thing! It’s great you can speed up a little at the end but slow is so good. You will keep going to the end and avoid injury! You can be very proud of your progress!

I think most of us have to fight not to go too fast. I almost never run as quickly as I did during couch to 5k now (unless I’m deliberately doing a speedy run basically). I was such a slow learner! It’s great to run and be able to breath comfortably at the same time and that will stand you in such good stead for your running journey all through the years ahead. It sounds like you’re doing brilliantly.

It might be worth having a browse through the programme guide for hints and tips. Mainly, keep up the good work!
