Second run in the books. I meant to go right away this morning before it got warm out, but I had some important things to do first thing, so I had to put it off. I was determined to not let that deter me from sticking to the schedule, so I went out around noon.
It was pretty warm and I sweat a ton, but I got through it. Well we got through it, I've been running with my 3 year old black lab. She got a bit tired/overheated by the cooldown period, but finished strong (enough). Lots of cold water awaited us at home and we both enjoyed it quite a bit.

Well done for tweaking your schedule and getting out there. You’ve not only got another run under your belt, you’ve also worked on another runner’s skill: adapting when life throws you a curveball.
You’ll find that this isn’t a one-off, rejigging your schedule will happen a lot as you fit your running in. We all go through this (probably even the pros) so great job making sure it happened.
Glad to hear rehydration was on the cards after a hot one. For both you and your running buddy. She sounds like a lovely companion.
Welcome and well done and hopefully you have checked this essential reading! Noon maybe is not the best time to run but sometimes we just feel we have to fit stuff in. Do make sure that your hydration is great all the time...not just run days... so important
Well done! You & the black lab are quite a pair! Phew running in the heat is brave! Glad you are remembering to hydrate well.. don’t forget that on rest days as well xx
