So a year after I started C25k I’m starting again. Last year I finished week 5 then just didn’t carry on. I managed to run one 5k run on my own in 39mins which I was really happy with but this time I’m hoping to complete the programme. My first goal is to take part in my local parkrun.
I’m planning on doing my first run tomorrow all being well ☺️

Hi nowster yes I read that they encourage more parkwalkers, I’d really like to be able to run it but it might be an idea to walk/run too and see how I enjoy it
🍏So pleased you have decided to give C25K another go so welcome back! Let’s see if we can get you past week 5 to the end this time & then on to fulfilling that great goal of doing a Park run! Do read the above link to refresh your memory and let us know how that first run goes!!
Good luck this time round. It’s hard running alone but stick at it. I am currently on third time around this time following injury. Parkruns are great good luck.
Congratulations on getting back on track. Doing the weekly parkrun as often as you can is a wonderful incentive. Don't get too competitive, at least for now. Just enjoy it. Sometimes it goes better, and when you achieve a personal best it reminds you how far you've come.
Well done, I am much the same as you, have graduated previously and then started again this year, got to week 5 and ground to a halt as my son got ill. I am on week 2 and determined to be consistent! I will finish it this time and I will manage to show up for myself.
Good luck and enjoy parkrun too! You’ve got this…!
Yes Miss_slinky go for it. You’ve done it once so you can do it again! Enjoy the peace and quiet of going for a run. Thank you, I’m going for my first run once my husband gets home from work so I will keep you updated
