I did it!

I graduated this morning, from total Couch to 3k in 30 minutes. I'm 65 next month and spent about 40 years abusing my poor body with excesses of drink, drugs and cigarettes. I cleaned up my act about 10 years ago, but had never run a step in my life. I'd like to express the most enormous gratitude to this miracle of a body that I've been blessed with, that has kept going despite it all. And dedicate this achievement to all I've loved and lost who weren't lucky enough to survive. Looking forward to keeping this up now, with 3 runs a week. Maybe I'll even get to 5k one day!
