Today 5 years ago I graduated from C25K on running run 3 of week 9 along the promenade at Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland, what a wonderful 5 years it's been for me since the 18th June 2018, I kept the original post of that run which you can see above, I am hoping to rerun it tomorrow at the exact same place weather permitting, if not a week tomorrow, there is a weather forecast for thunder and heavy rain tomorrow morning.

And we have enjoyed them with you...x
Update Floss, 19th June I reran run 3 of week 9 this morning at 10am along the prom at Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland, it's about 30 miles away from where I live, the weather at home was dry with bright intervals but where I ran it was dull with light rain, the 30 minutes run brought happy memories of the first time I ran it 5 years ago.
Congratulations on your 5th Al, may you have many more.
Congratulations on your runniversary AlMorr β¦this place wouldnβt be the same without you!!
Celebrate with a repeat of your graduation run??!! X
Thank you very much Mummycav, I hope to rerun it tomorrow at the same place as I ran it 5 years ago but the weather forecast is for heavy rain only clearing around midday, if not I will run it a week tomorrow.
good for you Al..5 years has flown by!! This year is my 6th year as a runnerβ¦I am working my way through the programme a bitβ¦Iβve been doing some jeffing for the last couple of runs but I am dipping in and out of c25k until I eventually get to the end againβ¦.
Hope youβve celebrated x
love this post - itβs so lovely to see how far youβve come and I look forward to hearing your future running journey too ππ»ππ»
That's a nice complement Dendev75, I have come "a long distance" so to speak since I graduated, the longest run being a half marathon, but I have also ran 8/10 mile runs and 38/10Ks as well as 84 parkruns
Iβm inspired π Iβm currently at the 10k stage after completing the ct5k a year ago. A few setbacks but aiming to do a 10 mile in October then a half next March - why not? βΊοΈ
Congratulations on your Runniversary Al. What an amazing 5 years it has been. Good luck for your run tomorrow, I hope the rain stays away
