We did! Ran just over 30mins then ran walked the final 1.5k! Saturday park run will be run 3 of Week 8! My plan is to run as far as I can without stopping!
Then on to week 9 which will be, a lot of new Runs! Monday the whole club is running at Knole Park in Sevenoaks on BH Monday at 10am! Then it’s home finish packing and leave for Spain! Having been talking to another Run on Running Community as he is there now! So rest of the routes are now planned around the salt lakes in TORREVIEJA
I belong to a group of Runners which widely spread out across Kent in different small groups! As a rule we meet up at a school and run out of there! However with longer days we try and do different runs in different places! Last night was about introducing the beginners who are on week 6 to trail running and the park run course plus it’s nice for us to make the most of it the trails instead of just road running!
We buddied as the course is so spread out and so the team leaders can run between smaller groups to ensure every one is ok plus it makes for a chatty run and getting to know other runners! This can only be done in the summer with the longer days
