Hey All,

Have been plodding along nicely but been having serious problems with my feet. From previous gait tests I have purchased shoes which i hot out the cupboard. I have had tingly toes to really bad arch pain

So yesterday i went and had my Gait done again. Got a nice pair of shoes. No problem with my left leg which is normally the worst but my right foot arch hurt. I think i did my shoe up too tight.

Any suggestions. I normally give ip because my feet hurt too much hit determine to find the solution this time

Could be as simple as too tight or other lacing problems.Take a look at these different lacing techniques.

I had to lace my current trainers differently as they made my feet hurt, I missed out one set of holes in the middle and they've been fine since.

Another pair I took out the insoles that came with the trainers and replaced them and that fixed the arch ache they were giving me

There's always a way!

Im starting to feel better about it all now. I will give it one more go but with a looser lace and if no joy will change the lace pattern.

Other than the arch pain it was a much better plod.

I switched to the "high arches" lacing shown here for one pair of trainers only - my others are fine
