Morning guys, I just want to say what an inspiring bunch you are and how helpful this thread has been on my C25K journey. Folk have been so generous with advice and encouragement.
Sadly I'm having to call it a day, after two reasonably serious injuries laid me up for weeks at a time, I'm taking the hint and going back to vigorous walking, at least for now. Hanging up the golden boots to ensure I'm mobile for various family events and hols coming up.
Be proud all of you who are pushing on through and getting all the satisfaction and health benefits of running. Maybe I'll see you out there one day!
Signing out for now.

Well... This is sad news, but I do know that your calf injury set you back.
Walking is a great exercise and if you pop across to Active 10, there are friends there , equally supportive and friendly. Lots of mini challenges there and lots of interesting themed walk activities too... great fun!
The latest one is an April/May challenge... April is Yellow
Really sorry to hear this. You’ve got to do what’s right for your body right now. Walking is still a brilliant way to exercise. Who knows-in the future the runs might come back, but even if they don’t I’m sure you’ll find a way to stay active that suits you. You’re always welcome here.
Hopefully see you over on Active10…you’ll spot many of us there if you join us!
