just completed w9 r3. I actually did it on Friday but had to abandon 2 mins early because of stomach issues. I wanted to do it again so I properly, properly could say I’ve done it! I’VE DONE IT!!! Thanks for this awesome forum. It’s taken me months and months to complete this. I have had setbacks of illness, injury and travel but I kept coming back to this lovely encouraging group and am delighted I have made it. Planning to run an actual 5K for my next run and see how long it takes me. I’d say 35mins or so. Have signed up for a 10K in June and The Great North Run Half Marathon in Sept. Lots done, lots to do.
Happy Running All

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 of C25K and graduating, good luck for your HM training for the Great North Run, that takes around 16 weeks so you have plenty of time to train for it.
Thanks you!!!! all inside!!! It’s VERY steep where I live. Have been doing some walking with some up hill runs in between and am going to join my local women’s trail running club this week so will be back in the great outdoors again! I think it will be very sloooooow times on these hills 🤣
Congratulations on completing C25K TheFoxes ! Frankly, who cares about time if you're enjoying yourself? Hills and trails are my thing, and my average pace now is slower than when I'd just completed C25K. However, I can run much further, and get in much more vertical and challenging terrain.
I'm in France's Massif Central. Are you somewhere like the Lakes, the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales or Northumbria, or maybe Snowdownia or the Scottish Highlands?
Oh yes, rural West Yorkshire must be glorious! I'm originally British, now dual nationality, and my husband (British) and I moved to France almost 17 years ago. I only started running back in May 2020 so my experience is a bit different to (odder than) that of many people on here. More info in profile if you're interested. Happy running to you!
Waves from the other side of the Pennines. I'm lucky that I have large rural areas between the local towns and it's not too hilly. And I have a canal nearby when I want (mostly) flat running.
We sometimes get (large) groups from the White Rose side at my local parkrun.
