Now had you told me back in September that I would be running for 30 minutes on my birthday I would have laughed in your face. When I realised 2 weeks ago that my graduation run would fall on my birthday I was tempted to jiggle my runs about to make sure I had the day off. The more I thought about it I decided that getting my graduation run on my birthday would be an amazing birthday present to myself!
I did it! This girl who couldn’t run for 30 seconds 3 months ago did it! Today’s run felt hard as I’m battling with a cold but I so wanted to do it!
I can’t believe I’ve done it and can’t wait to build on all the hard work that I’ve done. I’m nowhere near 5k yet (3.5k to just under 4K) so that’s my next target.
Thank you to everyone who has offered me support and praise on here. This forum is full of amazing people who build you up and make you realise that you CAN do it.
