I decided to do W2R2 today so I can then do R3 later in the week and then start week 3 on Sunday getting me back into a Monday/Wednesday/Friday routine, I know Sunday isn't Monday but I've got a 3 hour drive to work on Monday morning so I'm doing it Sunday.
Today's run was shortened, I'd just about finished the last run when Mrs LeeU phone me to tell me that one of our daughters wasn't well and that she was taking her to the doctors (she'd gone down to take the grandkids to school and found her in more of a state than she was saying).
I finished the run (which was elongated as the C25K app pauses if someone calls you and I didn't stop joffling).
I missed the cool down walk as I was throwing my running gear into the wash and throwing clothes on as fast as I could.
I did make up for the cool down walk as I walked across the village where we live to fetch Mrs LeeU's car back as her father had taken them to the doctors.
Happy running everyone.

Sorry to hear your daughter isn’t well-wishing her a really quick recovery. Sometimes life just makes things tricky, doesn’t it. It sounds like you absolutely made the best of it. Hopefully your next one will have a calmer end to it. The main thing is that your daughter is ok ❤️
They're keeping her in overnight, they're not sure what's wrong with her at the minute but she's had anti-biotics and she's on a drip for fluid replacement so she's in the best place.
It also means I've had to break away from work to walk up to fetch the grandkids from school.
A month ago I would have driven as my back would have ached walking up there but today it as a nice brisk walk.
