Wk 3 done!!

It's been a while here! Travelled for a bit then school resumed so my run routine was broken up. I am getting used to running in the dark after classes, and I finally completed week 3 today and that was good, hard but good!Week 2 run 3 felt better than the first 2 runs in the week, but week 3 run 3 felt harder than the preceding runs. So now I am worried about next week😱😪.

Plus the sides of my shins still burn like crazy, any tips to help with that?

Well done, you don't need to worry about next week, trust the program, you are doing very well, onwards and upwards to week 4,

Sounds like shin splints, your best bet is going to a running shop and getting some advice on trainers...Will make a big difference.

No need to worry about the runs, or the weeks as you move on. All the runs and all the weeks folow on in a structured way. Just keep it slow and keep it steady and take extra rest days of you feel you need them:)

Do pop across to the S and F forum where CBDB has put together a whole load of useful information to help with those aches and pains. We do expect to feel it when we set out... our body wonders what is going on!
