Congratulations!!! That’s superb news. How are you celebrating? 🏃‍♀️💪🎉🥳👩‍🎓

I think you’ve already nailed it in your post-make running part of your routine. Make it something that’s a normal part of your week. Don’t rely too much on feeling super enthusiastic or super motivated for each run. Just go and feel super proud of yourself.

I found it helpful to try new routes, mix it up with timings, set new goals etc. Take time to consolidate though-that’s important. Max thirty minutes until that’s totally comfortable as described in the link below. There’s no need to every run to be thirty minutes long-shorter ones are good runs too.

There’s a great guide to post c25k running here…healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Who knows where those runner’s legs will take you next? Have fun consolidating your brilliant feat in finishing c25k ❤️

Well done, isn't it amazing! I graduated nearly 3 years ago and here are my tips.Keep doing the 30 min runs for a while, but perhaps build in a shorter run once a week.

Vary your routes on those 30 min runs so you don't get bored! Sometimes those post graduation 30 min runs can feel a bit weird without your coach. Some people continue with the guided runs, or use the Nike run club guided runs. I didn't use them, but just went on my little 30 minute exploration runs in different places.

If you're not running 5k yet, you can, after a few weeks, just gradually extend the time of your runs bit by bit.

I'm sure others on the forum will have all sorts of links to advice.

I think it depends on what 'type' of runner you are which will influence what motivates you. If you're a lone runner like me, then you might just develop your own plan.

Best of luck - bet you feel great!

well done!! I’m going to stick with week 9 for a couple of weeks I think…..I need the structure and routine in my life or don’t think I’ll keep it up 😳. What about you?

Congratulations. Hope you have a great celebration planned. That’s a huge milestone on your running journey - but just the beginning.

The links and tips above will definitely help you. Consolidation is key.

For me, I felt a but adrift without someone chatting me through each run. Finding the Nike Run Club app was the thing I needed. Their guided runs replaced the C25K and I didn’t have to clock watch to see when I needed to stop. They have both timed and distance runs. Others have found ZombieRun to be good - and some people like the freedom of running without someone in their ear is brilliant.

Experimentation to see what works is definitely key. Enjoy it.
