Well I didn't get to post about run 2 but I still did it anyway and just freshly (urgh maybe not quite the right word) from run 3. And I survived! No, it wasn't as hard as I feared but perhaps was harder than my first try way back when.
I'm seriously proud of myself right now and looking forward to the next stage. One of my friends is also considering a local 5k in February and I'm hoping to join them; onwards to week 2 for now though!
I appreciate everyone's support

Way to go, Bluecorona , and congratulations on finishing week 1! That's awesome!
You can totally do the 5K in February! By then you'll be running for 30 minutes straight and have a few weeks of consolidation under your belt, so at minimum you'll be able to run a good chunk of the 5K and maybe finish it walking. First enjoy this program, though!
👏you are doing so well… enjoy week 2! Take it nice & slowly & look around you … it’s a whole new way of life opening up to you & you will one day fulfil that park run goal!
Well done on completing week 1 Bluecorona ! Just stick with the programme, follow the advice given in the How to run C25K FAQ - healthunlocked.com/couchto5... - and you'll be fine. Have fun!
Congrats on week 1- I’m in the same boat, just finished week 1 yesterday- looking at this app for motivation and seeing others start out and keep going is really helping. Keep posting and keep going, looking to checkin on your posts after week 2
Welcome Chuckles3 …it’s great to have you here! Keep us updated on how you’re getting on too. We have plenty of virtual pom poms ready to wave as you pass! 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
You might have missed this little (well, long really!) guide to the programme full of hints and tips. Have a look and come back with any questions. Most important? Keep it steady enough so you can hold a conversation in full sentences out loud. That’s the best for making best progress. Good luck! ❤️
Thanks all, love the support here 😃 ChannelRunner2 yes absolutely going to enjoy this programme first - I'm having to remind myself to give it a day or 2 and not jump straight to the next week. They do say this is addictive! Chuckles3 Definitely going to keep posting and totally agreeing seeing others in the same boat helps (plus those who've completed it too of course)
