Managed to do my final W9 run 3 yesterday, in the autumn sunshine!
Chuffed at getting to the end, having started C25k early this year and being waylaid by a leg injury in Feb that stopped me in my tracks at only Week 2. Restarted in Sept and finally made it.
Have never been much of a runner and found the longer runs hard, but joining this community and reading everyone’s tips and similar struggles with longer runs definitely helped me get through them, so a big thank you! (I even enjoyed some of them!).
Now to investigate Nike Running club and Parkrun…

Hi, well done enjoy the moment and run with a smile. Parkrun is a great way to consolidate and find your pace. Having people around you may pull you along with enthusiasm. If you do pace yourself with a watch try to get the first km right and not go off too fast. Enjoy.
Yay! Well done 👏 I’m so thrilled for you! I too planned my final run this weekend but prioritised the final garden work on this potentially last nice weather weekend and my back is complaining so my run will be later this week now. I’ll be glad to get it done tbh, and then don’t think I’ll be running as long, more run walk run. But thank you for mentioning the nike run thing, I’ll check that out. I can’t say I enjoyed many of these runs so I’ll need all the help can get to keep it up. I wish I knew where to find that running bug people talk about 😂 congratulations again and thank you for being here, connecting with you has helped me 🤝
Ahhh thanks a lot Brighter1 ! I was wondering if you’d managed yours yet too, thought you’d get there before me! 😉Good prioritisation of gardening though, the weather’s definitely turning this week! Good luck with your final run whenever you manage it - you’ll be great I’m sure.
Yeah not sure I’ve found the running bug either, but getting to the end without it is almost more impressive 😜🤣
Thanks for your support too, it definitely helped me get to the finish line! 😍🤩
