Can’t believe I did it! I know everyone says this but if I can do it anyone can!
It took me a lot longer than the 9 weeks. I had a few glasses of wine last night and didn’t feel like completing this morning but so glad I did it!
Thank you to everyone who has replied to my posts and kept me going with their encouragement and Advice. Reading your posts and comments kept me motivated.
You’re all stars!

Wow! Very well done to you! I am on week 2, and so nervous about upcoming weeks. Did you repeat any weeks along the way? And what are your plans after your week 9 achievement, will you keep on doing week 9 or move to another plan? Xx
Thank you! I actually started some time last summer but work got in the way or I found it too difficult and then stopped. I repeated so most of the runs the 1st time around. But when I started up again during xmas I decided to come on this forum and every problem I was having was addressed! The keep to me completing was going slow. I plan to consolidate using the same app and then increase my distance once I'm comfortable with running 30 minutes. You can do it, trust me. Just keep coming to this forum if ever feel in doubt. you can do it!
Thank you! Congrats and well done to you too! I think I've going to consolidate my 30 mins run for about a month and work on covering more distance as I didn't reach 5k and then start to do 1 longer run each week x
It just a fancy term for sticking at the same level for a bit before pushing yourself further. I've just completed the C25K and will probably do 2-3 weeks of consolidation by repeating week 9 for another two or three weeks. It just helps to ensure your body is comfortable operating at that level before the next challenge!
Yes, absolutely - I still think that W5R1 was one of my favourite runs throughout the whole programme because I'd reached a point where I felt I was running for a decent amount of time and I didn't feel too exhausted doing it. I might at some point repeat that run a few more times but try and up my pace considerably on the running sections to see if it helps my speed develop.
