I’ve never (and still don’t) consider myself a runner however I’m slowly accepting that I can and will do this. I Can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to week 8 & 9 and can only praise the team that put this program together. It’s still not easy, and yes, many people will walk faster than I run but I’m learning to accept that’s ok. Running hasn’t been my thing so I think about my days as a dancer to get me through when I’m hanging in there. I’ve found running outdoor is physically harder but mentally easier as there’s more distractions than on a treadmill. 21 runs completed and 6 more to do …if i can do this anyone can.

Congratulations to you Cantrun on completing run 3 of week 7, you have now ran 4/25 minute runs, when you completed run 3 of week 6 you then became OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, it doesn't matter about speed or pace as long as you are running, I am happy that you are looking forward to weeks 8 and 9, perhaps the days when you were a dancer has helped you with your running, good luck for your remaining 6 runs and especially run 3 of week 9 your graduation run 🏃🏾

Have fun in week9 . It's the best! Think slow, smile and plod on!So pleased I found your response today-I've been in the doldrums a little with my running in the last 10 days because of .. Well that's how life goes sometimes....

Knowing that you are starting on your week 9 has reminded me what I love about it. Currently visiting relative but Monday I have the day off work and I am going to commit to whatever run comes up on my Garmin plan-Thank you for spreading your enthusiasm 😀

What do you think a runner is if it’s not you? A runner is just someone who runs. There’s no minimum distance or time to qualify. There’s no minimum number of runs you need complete every month to retain your status as a runner!

To misquote Hagrid, “Yer a runner Cantrun-icanrun ”! You’ve been one for some time now. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

think I’m starting to believe this now - maybe a little self belief is kicking in.
