I'm delighted so say I've recently completed the C25K challenge!
I'm sure you all know it's not easy at times, but I was determined to complete it and following the APP was a huge help (thanks Laura whoever you are π).
I've now lost about a stone in weight, now eating more heathily and I've cut down my alcohol intake (to virtually zero). Reviewing food and drink intake went naturally with the running. I feel much better for it!
I've now jointed our local athletics club (a lot of the members appear to be graduates from the C2K5) so it's great the club caterers for all abilities and has lots of runs and track sessions to choose from, all included in the membership fee. I would recommend a local club to all graduates.
I'll now have to find the next challenge as I'm finding myself getting stronger and running faster at a comfortable pace. I was out early this morning for a steady run and it felt great (6.7k).
It looks like I have the bug π
Best of luck to everyone with your running exploits.
