Did a long post on the app to see it’s no longer supported or maintained all posts 4 or 5 months old.
Since March 2022 I have struggled to run a 5k and have only got to 1.7k before walking. I had the health checks again as result of both parents dying from cancer and still ok. So 5k times have dropped as a result of walking 1.5k of a 5k run. So after a lot of thought I have started C25K again from the beginning. I have just completed week 1. Onward and upwards now.
I hope everyone is well and healthy and still running.

Goodness me... welcome back! Yes I am still here... still slow and steady.
You have had a very upsetting time and it is little wonder that it has taken its toll.
Many, many of us have repeated all. or some of C25K, ( including me), and it is a great way to get back into your running, safely and enjoyably. You know the form...
Take each run, each week as it comes, no pressure and no pushing.... just keep posting here for support and encouragement.
Welcome back Papillon. I have just climbed the mountain again after a rubbish 6 months. In the end, a diet of long slow runs (after lots of short slow ones!) seemed to be what I needed. I keep having to fight the need for speed; it always end up with me on the ic!
I know how you feel… when I first started I completed C25k and from then on I never walked on any of my runs. I just ran continuously. Even up to my HM. Then I realised that a lot of people walked now and then through their runs( I’d always thought that was sort of ‘cheating’). I’d felt that I wasn’t a “proper runner” if I walked
After I had a bout of illness for 3 months and could barely walk across a room without struggling for breath I finally managed to drag myself out and start c25k again. It took me weeks to get to finally run the full length of the last few weeks of the plan . But I made it by just keep going out and running slower to start with.
Then I had covid in Feb and again end of June and I seem to be stuck now and have only managed one continuous 5k since. I can run for 10 mins, 4 times with a 1 min walk in between, and so do 5k that way. And once or twice I have run for 15 mins twice, with 1 min walk between and after and then just done the last 9-10 mins to get to 10k. I have even run several 10ks but again in 10 min intervals. But I still run alternate days which I’m happy with. Oh and one day I actually managed the C25k speed session which is 22 mins to running continuously and I kept going to round it up to 25. That was hard!!!
I don’t know if it’s psychological now but I am not stressing as I still think it’s better than not running at all. Maybe I will manage to get back to continuous running one day but it’s still better than sitting on the couch.
As someone else said keep going , keep posting on here and I’m sure you will get there eventually 💕
