So I was out again tonight running my fourth C25K Week 9 Run 3 so in theory my first run after graduation. I like listening to Laura so had her on with my music, a lovely early evening run, lost my running partner an hour earlier due to a disaster at work but I had set my heart on going tonight so I went. It was hard but my ducks again all lined up and even Will Power joined Determination to ensure my run was done. I got to the end of the broadcast at around 4.5km and today had set my mindset to running 5k whatever the time was going to be. Well I did it I planned my route knowing that the last 500 metres would be flat and went and ran including some of the cool down walk just to ensure I achieved my target of 5k and I did it in 34.36 which I am well pleased with as it’s my first non stop 5k since before my big injury. Happy running everyone.
