OMG, I feel amazing. The last time I posted on here was 1 month ago when I had just done week ,1 run 1. Now I have finished week 6. I can't believe I have just ran for 25 mins non stop!!!!! I managed to find a great pace and kept it steady. I am also 4 and a half months smoke free and I feel so good. What a difference it has made to my running and my life in general. Feeling quite proud of myself right now! 🙌 🏃‍♀️🥰

You deserve to be very proud of yourself MG36, congratulations on being smoke free for 4 and a half months.Well done on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER 🏃🏾

Onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3 /25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate from C25K.

Good for you MG36! I took a couple of months off from running and just started back up again a few days ago. Your post is great motivation. 👍

Well done you should be proud. I'm starting week 5 tomorrow and excited about it. I stopped running through lockdown as was working constantly and have struggled to get back to enjoying it so started c25k again 4 weeks ago and starting to feel the running buzz again.

Well done indeed! It will now just get better all the time! At 70 I completed my first 10k at the weekend, running for over 1 hour. Keep going, beverage look back n make sure you do exercises before AND AFTER every run and your recovery should be faster each time - we'll done!

Rightly so, be proud and share your success. Let everyone know how brilliant C25K is. Transformational. And btw as a boy aged 10 it's etched into my memory seeing my dad give up smoking 40 woodbines a day for the sake of my health, I was asthmatic. He was so ill for several weeks. BUT never smoked again and lived a good life to 93. So your efforts are just magnificent.

This is an amazing story about your dad. Its not easy becoming smoke free and the process has been very hard physically and mentally. C25K has been amazing and i'm happy to shout about it. Thank you for your kind words 😀
