A lovely cool morning, no one about, so off I went again. Apart from the slight hill which left me puffing and wondering when the running section would end, all went well. It makes such a difference having music to listen to, and it takes my mind off waiting for the slow down to a brisk walk instructions! 😉

Brilliant stuff, well done you. I found the right music really helps make the runs go by more quickly. Although the local farmer still tells the story down the pub of listening to me singing Viva Las Vegas as I didn't know he was there 🙈 a good way to check your pace isn't too fast though 🙂

I have now turned to audio books for the distraction but I have to turn it up high to hear over the sound of the treadmill. I used to love music too and ended up with a good Spotify run list. I had it on random play though otherwise I would know when to slow down etc.Happy running.

I’ve yet to try an audio book when running or even a podcast. I’ve always listened to music and like the randomness of a shuffle 🤣 maybe I’ll try an audio one time just to see if it helps feel like time is going faster 👍🏻

Thank you Nilsam. Good idea to have Spotify on random play too, although for some reason it doesn't seem to play at all for me sometimes and I have to switch to BBC sounds app.

Ooh that's interesting...I have to get it going first then the start the Couch 25K app after. I will try the BBC sounds app though good idea. 👍🏻👍🏻
