week 9 run

I had already decided that, as it's week 9, I wanted to try running a different route. Somewhere a bit less hilly just to see how it affected my run. It wasn't too hot this afternoon but it was sunny so I found a cycle path not far from home which is under trees and along a river. Lovely and shady. Strava tells me that I managed to do 3.73 in 30 minutes, the best I've managed before (up and down my hill) was 3.03 last week, we'll see how that compares with run 2 (I'll be back on my hill for that one) . Don't know when that'll be though, looks like the hot weather's arriving by Saturday and it'll be way too hot for me

That sounds like an ideal place to run in the sunshine. Shade is definitely everyone’s friend at the moment.

In the heat, I’d either be going early, late or not at all. Good luck with those final runs on the programme. The end is in sight!

Will do, if the weather forecast is accurate it'll even be too hot to go out early in the morning, today was probably the last opportunity until the weather breaks. 😊
